Accounts Payable Clerk

Position type: Full-time Accounts Payable Clerk position with Association Management (Multi-Management) Firm. This is a junior role, with opportunities to grow, based on ability.
Location: North York
Start: Immediately
Duties:
To provide support to small accounting team for Accounts Payable and supporting accounting functions for multiple clients.
- Assist in general accounts payable, record-keeping and other functional book-keeping duties for multiple client accounts
- Ability to work with remote access database-driven websites for different clients
- Cooperate as part of small team of financial / book-keeping staff
- General administrative accounting activities
To fulfill general office administration functions.
- Ordering office supplies
- Monitoring contracts for office equipment
- Ensuring office equipment is functioning, e.g. replacing toner and paper as required in printers and copier; managing postage meter, adding funds, printing reports, etc.
- Calling service technicians as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year Accounts Payable experience
- Familiarity with Canadian standards
- Knowledge of most recent version of QuickBooks
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Database Management Systems and Outlook / Internet
- Post-secondary education and relevant accounting/book-keeping certifications
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Unflappable multi-tasker
- References required
