2025 AMCs Engaged!
Ruth Abrahamson and Emma Roberts were thrilled to be part of 2025 AMCs Engaged in Savannah Georgia this week – an inspiring and energizing event centered on this year’s theme: Business as Unusual.
One key takeaway from the opening keynote: planning is core to our work, but global disruptions – from the pandemic to geopolitical instability – continue to challenge even the best-laid plans. In this landscape, AMCs serve as a steady force, helping associations adapt and thrive.
With AI and robotics on the rise, many sessions focused on how to leverage these tools responsibly, reminding us it’s not just about what tech we adopt, but how we use it.
Other highlights included:
✅ Using technology intentionally – not just adoption, but meaningful application
✅ Strengthening onboarding with connection and mentorship
✅ Focusing on outcomes, not just activity
✅ AMCs are the voice of stability among volatility
✅ The importance of connection in onboarding through a mentorship program that pairs new hires based on shared values
✅ Client prioritization model to assess and grow impact using scoring and action plans
✅ That the integrated model, where AMCs partner with an external CEO or senior leadership, provides strength and industry advantage
✅ A reminder that having fun benefits staff, organizations, members, and the bottom line
A special congratulations to Ruth, who was recognized for her leadership and dedication to the AMCI Global Board – a well-deserved honour that reflects her meaningful contributions!
Thanks again to AMCI for bringing together a community that’s not just navigating change – but leading through it!
